This “Double Knife Set” has an all-around utility knife and a gutting knife together in one sheath. The gutting knife is used to slice hides from the inside, because they’re less likely to get bound up with fur or other debris from the hide’s exterior. The blade is also mounted opposite to the contour of the handle, so that you can maintain your grip when performing a drawing cut towards you. Both knives have handles made from curly birch wood, sanded, stained, and polished to a smooth finish, and have both an inset for your index finger, and a hooked pommel so the knife will never slip out of your hand. The full-length tangs are evident by the brass nut on the pommel, giving these knives added durability.

The sheath is nicely detailed with stamped and stained artwork, it contains a plastic liner to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through, and the belt loop is attached by a metal D-ring, which allows the knife to swing freely and keep out of the way when you’re crouching or sitting.
