This is a wonderfully useful combination of the puukko knife, used for smaller camp chores and carving, and the leuku, used for larger chores like butchering and chopping wood, both in the same sheath. The handles are very attractive assemblies made by pressing together many thin layers of stained wood, and then sculpting and shaping the handle so that as the different layers are exposed, they form gorgeous surface patterns. The handles have both an inset for your index finger, and hooked pommels so the knives will never slip out of your hand. The full-length tangs are evident by the brass nuts on the pommels, giving these knives added durability.

The sheath contains a plastic liner to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through, and and the belt loop is attached by a metal D-ring so that it swings freely and keeps out of the way when you’re crouching or sitting.

This is a really neat, compact and high-quality package!
