The “Children’s Knife” is intended as a starting knife for children with a rounded point, but the edge is still quite sharp.  Please make sure that your child is ready for a really sharp knife.  The handle is shaped with a bit of a guard to help prevent the child’s fingers from sliding off the handle and onto the blade.
