Diamond plates are the best way to keep your Scandinavian knife sharp. They’re small, lightweight, portable, never seem to wear out, and are the perfect size and weight to easily to run over the blade, as opposed to a larger stone where you have to run the blade over the stone. This version is roughly the size and shape of a credit card (3 1/4″ by 2″), weighs a bit more than an ounce, and has a fine (600) grit.  It is the perfect size for your pocket, or even your wallet  It comes with a plastic sleeve and is used dry, just wipe off the dust when you’re done.
