Marttiini Witch’s Tooth Knife

This knife is names the “Witch’s Tooth” because of the handle pommel, which is made from reindeer antler and rattles a little bit when shaken, to ward off evil spirits (according to Lapplander beliefs).  The rest of the handle is a nicely done stacked design of polished curly birch and antler, with thin fiber inserts.  The combination of flared pommel and finger inset will help you to keep a firm grip on this knife.  The carbon steel blade is etched with the Marttiini logo and features a drop-point profile.  The leather sheath is stamped with sigils and signs to keep evil away, and contains a partial insert to protect both the sheath and the hand from getting sliced if the knife is inserted incorrectly.  The belt loop is attached with a metal ring, to provide more flexibility and keep the knife out of the way while sitting or crouching.
