DMT Bench Diamond Plate, Course

Diamond plates are the best way to keep your Scandinavian knife sharp. These large bench plates probably aren’t appropriate for smaller hand knives, but they are great for chisels or larger sharp tools like planers. They can remove a lot of material very quickly, and are best used mounted on your bench so you can really apply force to them (you could hold them in a vise too I suppose). They measure 6″ long, 2″ wide, and are a sturdy 1/4″ thick. This plate has a coarse (325 grit, or 40 mesh x 45 micron) surface, and is made in the USA by DMT.
